4.2 INDICATIONS OF USE, SPECIFIYNG TARGET SPECIES
The product is indicated for Varroa Destructor treatment, mite that attacks the insects of genre apis. Aluen CAP is a treatment based on slow release strips. It’s recommended it ́s use in summer, autumn and spring.
4.3 CONTRA-INDICATIONS
None.
4.4 SPECIAL WARNINGS FOR EACH TARGET SPECIES
Oxalic acid is recommended for use in organic apiculture. There is no special warning for its use.
4.5 SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Special precautions for use in bees: Does not have special precautions for its use. Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals: Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. While using the product, do not eat, drink or smoke.
Wash carefully with soap and water after the application.
Other precautions: Keep out of the reach of children.

4.7 DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION ROUTES
Amounts to be administrated: four strips inside the brood chamber Administration route: acaricide for external use.
Mode of use: the product is used directly in the hives. Four strips are placed inside the breeding chamber covering squares 2, 4, 6 and 8 in hives, for 42 days. The strips should be curved in the center and then placed in the heads of the frames that make up the brood chamber.

The product does not present withdrawal periods for its use.
5.1 PHARMACODYNAMIC PROPERTIES
The acaridical action mechanism against Varroa Destructor is attributed to the sensivity of the mite at acidic pH. The acaricidal action is due to the contact of the mite with the strip of Aluen CAP. Although it is proven by the efficiencies obtained that the active ingredient has an effect on Varroa Destructor, there is no scientific evidence to demonstrate its method of action as an acaricide against the Varroa Destructor.

6.3 SHELF LIFE
Shelf life is two years from the elaboration date.
6.4 SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR STORAGE
Keep product in its original package, closed, safe from direct sunrays, stored in a temperature range of 15°C to 30°C and a relative humidity up to 75%.
No more than three boxes should be stowed.

Pouch type waterproof container, four heat-sealed seams, trilaminate, flexible, which characteristics are: PET- based laminate without impression and printed/adhesive/aluminium/adhesive/polyethylene of low density without pigments. Certificate: E- 1171 from SENASA. Comply with the resolution MERCOSUR GMC-RESOLUTION N°:3/92.
6.6 SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR THE DISPOSAL OF UNUSED VETERINARY MEDICINAL PRODUCT OR WASTE MATERIALS DERIVED FROM THE USE OF SUCH PRODUCTS
Any unused product or waste material should be disposed of in accordance with national requirements.
